Co-curricular Fee Task Force

Charge: The Co-Curricular Fee Task Force is charged with making recommendations to the Board of Education for reducing the cost of co-curricular services in South Portland Schools by exploring funding alternatives and/or the breadth and depth of the co-curricular offerings. The Task Force will present recommendations to the Board of Education by October 2010.

Custodial Services Task Force

Charge: The Custodial Services Task Force is charged with exploring and developing recommendations to the Board of Education for reducing the cost of custodial operations in South Portland Schools through either reduction of positions or outsourcing of services. The Task Force will present recommendations to the Board of Education by November, 2010.

Middle School Task Force

Charge: The Middle School Task Force is charged with making recommendations to the Board of Education for a timeline and structure for reducing the cost of middle school programming. The Task Force will present recommendations to the Board of Education by December 2010.
